Tehama is transitioning to an online subscription service for our Cellular DCAPs. You will have the convenience of activating and managing the service for each of your cellular-enabled DCAPs through our CIT and soon our Web App. To initiate the service for new DCAPs, simply connect to the Site where you will be guided to start the monthly subscription payment process. Both software platforms will seamlessly direct you to a Stripe check-out page for entering your credit card or ACH information.
If you manage multiple cellular subscriptions, you can access the "Manage Cell Subscriptions" page in the CIT or the "Billing" option from the Web app to view a list of your active subscriptions. Whether from this page or when directly connected to a Site, you can easily cancel or unsubscribe from the service if needed. For instance, if hardwired Ethernet becomes available at the property or the Site undergoes a change in ownership.
Opting out of the subscription where no other access to the Internet is available (e.g. Ethernet or WiFi) will lead to the cellular service for that site being deactivated within 20-30 days, at which point all data forwarding from the DCAP will stop. Should you decide to reinstate the service later, you can do so from either of our software platforms by connecting to the Site and renewing the subscription.
Our new monthly subscription model is replacing our previous annual invoicing method for service charges. This change aims to provide more flexibility for all parties involved, allowing the end user to have monthly control over the service at each Site. It's important to note that we have not issued any invoices for service in 2024, despite all existing cellular services remaining active this year.
To facilitate this transition from invoicing to subscriptions, we will be implementing a two-step process. Firstly, you will need to connect to all your Sites which use cellular services and initiate the subscription one by one. This is a one-time-only process for each Site. By mid August, once all active Sites are subscribed, we will generate an invoice for all services managed by you in H1/2024. This invoice will be sent to the email associated with each site. If you have multiple sites linked to the same email, a single invoice will cover all your Sites.
If a Site does not have an active subscription by the end of July 2024, the service for those Sites will be deactivated.
