Product Overview
The Outsider™ MDT combines direct meter reading with our proven AMR radio to provide an instant and error-free assembly process. It slides directly onto the register housing of all NMT SingleMag™ and VersaMag™ water meters, secured by a single screw. With no wiring involved, the common errors that can occur during shipment and installation are eliminated.
All MDTs are powered by two inexpensive, field-replaceable AA batteries. The Outsider™ MDT ships as a complete kit — radio with reed switch and batteries, locking-ring case, and the screw for securing it to the meter register.

Note: Standard, MAX, and LoRaWAN products are NOT compatible with each other. MAX MDTs must be used with MAX Repeaters & DCAPs; likewise for Standard. LoRaWAN models use Gateways.
